Surely you remember the Disney Channel show about a teen whose psychic powers were always getting her in trouble. Yup, it’s That’s So Raven! That’s So Raven was one of the Disney Channel shows that we grew up watching and shaped us into the people we are today. By having television shows like Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens and That’s So Raven, we basically didn’t need other entertainment because they alone were already so fun (for me at least!). Raven Baxter understands what it’s like to be a teenager, what it’s like to go to school every day, and especially, what it’s like to idolise a boy band (Boys in Motion, anybody?!). So it’s no surprise that Disney Channel show That’s So Raven is so many people’s all-time favorite show.

Raven was a big hit among the 2000s kids because she was really cool, had amazing outfits and of course, had psychic powers. The tv show was virtually the best thing on television from 2003 to 2007. The tv show is not only interesting but hilarious where adults could sit back, enjoy a good laugh by watching Raven and her two best friends (Chelsea and Eddie) go through and undertake various shenanigans. The show was a huge success because the cast consisted of good actors, and the storyline in every episode was hilarious and often relatable! Watching Raven’s expression when she had her slow-mo psychic moments is just amusing and the way she reacted and handled the situations with her family and friends are very enjoyable. I’m not sure if some of you have watched it but my favorite episode was when she visited her country cousins with Chelsea and there was a creepy scarecrow outside their window or that time when Raven and her brother, Cory lied about eating the cake and blamed their pushover nanny. That cake fear episode did a number on me and I wouldn’t have been able to stop laughing had my life depended on it.

So keep on your toes and get excited, ya nasties! 10 years on, it’s 2017 and the That’s So Raven spin-off is here and it’s called Raven’s Home. The minute Disney Channel announced they were making a That’s So Raven spin-off, fans (aka me!) of the original show knew it was going to be amazing. The show will be about Raven and Chelsea moving in together with their children (yes they have kids, feel old yet?) under one roof! Kind of like when Totally Spies moved in the same house together for college.

What? I’m a Disney child, forgive me.

Back to the That’s So Raven spin-off, the best part about it is that Raven’s son, Booker, has inherited her psychic abilities (result!). I can’t express how excited I am about the spin-off and to be able to laugh my ass off watching the two best friends handling their children. You might be wondering, “Who’s the father of the children?” or “Who’s Raven’s husband?” Well, you have to watch the show to find out. Here’s a tiny spoiler if you can figure it out – Raven’s husband was her high school sweetheart! So what are you waiting for folks, go catch the show on Disney Channel or stream it online because I’ll be having popcorn and my laptop fully charged right in front of me with a giddy smile on my face.
